Burntwood Rotary Club ran a tombola stall at The Chase Wakes at Burntwood Leisure Centre on Saturday 18 July, from 12pm to 4pm.
We were raising funds to help 1st Boney Hay and 1st Burntwood Guides on their trip to Norway and Malta, a once-in-a-lifetime adventure for the girls taking part.
Supporting young people in Burntwood
Helping young people take on new challenges, see more of the world and grow in confidence is a big part of what Rotary is about. Over the past year the club has given £750 to local Guides, alongside our support for youth competitions and Buddy Benches in local schools.
Thank you to everyone who came along to The Chase Wakes, tried their luck on the tombola and helped make the day a success. It was also lovely to see our friends from Burntwood Lions Club there on the day.
Want to help with stalls like this? We’re always glad of extra hands. Find out about joining or see our upcoming events.
